EQ Fippy Logs #1 (Server Launch)

The Fippy Logs are basically my video journal of my time spent on EverQuest's Fippy Darkpaw server. I am doing these videos as a way for me to collect memories playing EQ and as a way to keep the EverQuest experience alive here on YouTube, even after the last of the servers eventually shut down.

Fippy is a time-locked progression server, which means players will start off only being able to access what was available when the game first launched. After certain challenges are overcome and a couple of months go by, the players are then able to vote on whether or not they wish to progress to the next game expansion. If the players choose not to, then they will revote one week later. This will continue until all expansions are unlocked or the server population drops low enough that Sony decides to merge it with another server. The server was named after Fippy Darkpaw, a gnoll in EverQuest who has been charging the gates of Qeynos over and over for more than a decade.

Is this an emulated server or is it part of the official SOE server list?

I'll see what I can come up with, Opally. I'd very much like to feature some role-playing in the logs. I'd also like to do some more dramatic, scripted videos separate from the logs. If you have any other advice let me know.
