Hollywood stars Michael Douglas, Bruce Douglas, Ridley Scott and Nicole Kidman have united in the fight against terrorism, after taking out a full-page advertisement in the Los Angeles Times condemning violent extremists.

The foursome's signatures appear today alongside fellow actors and directors Danny DeVito, Dennis Hopper, Sylvester Stallone, Don Johnson, James Woods, Tony Scott, Michael Mann, Richard Donner and Sam Raimi, among others.

Thank you for speaking up. As an American, I feel a kinship and a sensetivity for the plight of Israel and her people. I hope that peace comes to the region in a big way. On the other hand - I hate to sound bitter - Israel, like the U.S., gets the shaft with international coverage of the conflict.
