  • Man, I fell in love with a Dahon 2 years ago. I bought it and used it to cross a tunnel in Rio to go to work. I used to happily ride my bike for 30 minutes to go and 30 to come back to the bus stop. I've given up the bike 'cause Dahon's assistance has neglected support and information about bags and new models. I believe you'd have a tremendous market if you brought your company to Rio! Cheers from a Brazilian folding bicycle lover!

  • @andrednz Great bikes. We sell a lot of Dahons as well. NYC is turning into the folding bike capitol very quickly but wouldn't mind commuting in Brazil on my Brompton for a week or so. -Bert

  • what is the cost of one Brompton the cheapest one ?

  • @daswada9 at the moment our cheapest stock bike goes for $1090. Please check out the link in the description for more current pricing. -Peter

  • I would love to see someone unpack their Brompton off the conveyer belt and ride it through Customs :D

  • @gp4nut

Will try that on my next trip and post it here ; ) -BC

  • @PedalBikerUK When the saddle is removed you can pack the bike in the case. Then again, with the saddle removed the seat post slides right out of the bike so you can easily take it out for extra space. These items will fit in the case next to the bike in a variety of places. -Peter

  • Am I right in thinking that if you have the extended seat post you can still pack the bike in the case with the extended seat post in place as long as you remove the saddle? If this is the case and the saddle has been removed will the saddle go into the case anywhere for transit?

  • @JogBird I've heard of people doing it but every time I've flown I've used the B&W case. I suppose if you were in first class or a plane with very large overhead bins a Brompton folding bike could fit in one. Check with your airline before flying (though they may have a very stock answer for you). Either way having a folding bike with you when traveling is well worth it. -Peter

  • can you bring your brompton on as a carry on in a plane.. w/o a case?
