Make sure you wind the spindle all the way down to the end of it's travel lock it in place then give the draw bar a good smack with a brass or soft type of mallet after you have loosened the dray bar nut 2turns
I have the exact same mill and the only thing I use the chuck for is drilling. They are not made to do anything else. Besides drill bits every other tool I have is for the MT3. I have had to use a metal hammer once or twice on my drawbar to get collet out. Loosen it up 2 threads and give it a good whack and only go a little beyond hand tight next time.
