Apoptosis is a cell death process, initiated internally by a number of triggers and factors, so it is a kind of suicide. Apoptosis explodes the cell at its end, and the cellular remains in the organism are ingested by macrophages. The video, in accelerated time, shows a macrophage extending repeatedly a pseudopod arm towards the cell which is going to die, followed by the apoptosis contraction.
