I know this is a little old, but I don't think that most of the complaints about Sonic 06 were about Sonic. I actually had no problem with how Sonic, Shadow, Blaze or Omega played, they all felt great. But everyone else being slow felt very anti-Sonic. And Sonic 4 doesn't quite felt like the older games, like it was supposed to, but it is a decent game overall. The mechanics in both games is the real problem, which they could have been tweaked.

This blew my mind! Tails' plane getting shot down in the midst of returning the Master Emerald, by Metal Sonic, whom comes back a second time. Sonic then lands on the FALLING Angel Island. Fucking. BRILLIANT!

@pokemon200016 Dude have you played Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic & Knuckles? I wouldn't call the physics a small thing to complain about, it's a huge part of the gameplay. And the physics in Sonic 4 are atrocious. On a downhill slope, Sonic loses momentum if you don't hold right (if you're going right). if he's curled up into a ball. That just makes zero sense. You have to control him completely differently to the older games. Sonic 4 is supposed to be the direct sequel S3&K, which to me is an insult.

sonic 4 is good in my opinion. its just some gamers buy a game and look for the small things to complain about. like in sonic 06. i hate it when people complain over almost nothing!"ohh whats wrong with the physics? sonic runs to fast over time!" well think about this. what whould you say if modern warfare 3, 2, 1, or black ops had problems like that. you whould say"screw it. its still a good game anyways." so gamers, stop trolling mario, sonic, and pokemon for not being like real stuff.
