instead of putting all that work into pumping it up to pressure you could use an air copressor which would build the pressuse alot quicker with the pull on a trigger

can u message me ALL the steps it took u to make the platfom and launcher

Thanks for showing the launch pad!

i used the same concept but mine's handheld haha its freaky.
the weird thing is i also used a fresca bottle
-
i have a similar setup :D nice adjustments tho

that bull shit
first off you need "o" rings to seal it.. wow i wont even explain.. but mine launches so high you struggle to see it
secondly your rocket is built like shit
you need something called a skirt and you attack fins to that
then you need a cap that holds a parachute
and you need a cone on top of the cap to make it more aerodynamic

cool

How about a small hole Just to fit on the pipe?
-
fuck it dude its a bicycle pump attached to a bottle

your bottle water is spill out...
but nice launcher...
u really involve urself in this activity?
i wonder if there's launching rocket competition at ur country...
nice..lol
thanks. theres lots of links on ow to make the rocket but hardly ne to make the launcher. that helps alot!

I have since modified the launcher by replacing the thin launch tube with 1/2" PVC piping. This fits nicely into the nozzle and keeps the rocket going straight before the fins start working. Stability is a problem and I will be modifying it as per the design provided by Kamiel Martinet. The launcher in my video prevents you from putting fins behind the rocket, and they have to go way back to get stability (getting the center of pressure well behind the center of gravity).

Try adding a nose weight instead. It's usually the easiest way to achieve stability.

Thats exactly right gk, and yes I did that too (five penny's worth of weight) and it helped. However, by my calculations that extra weight reduced the height of the launch by about 25 feet (more than 10%), so I try to optimize fins vs nose weight. You are right that nose weight is easier though.
