This song made the entire opening sequence of "Lay Down Your Burdens Pt. 1" very memorable to me.

Look up "75 minutes of thunder and rain" and listen to it while listening to this song as well. It's amazingness multiplies times 2 :D

This is the track heard a LOT on Battlestar Galactica Online. And I like it. It only plays a snippet of it (the triumphant sounding part of it) ingame, and it is nice to be able to hear the WHOLE thing.
For a while I was wondering if it was game exclusive, but then hearing the main theme which was used ingame gave me hope and at last I find this track.
And the game, well, the game in all likelihood, has done the same to others what it has done to me: Introduced me to an AWESOME series.

@pitwalltalk you don't need to add the "an" to your sentence.
But I totally agree. Absolutely beautiful, transporting music.

such an amazing music. this song walking around in my soul

Part of what makes this song so awesome is the timing of it... It's like you know some bad shit is about to go down ( which is par for the course for BSG :P), and this song just makes you reflect on the characters and what they've done... I love this frakking show.

@MrZingnigga Yeah, it was pretty awesome. :) We could choose the subject we wanted for the project but it was supposed to be about our way of viewing life. Galactica was the only choice for me, no way there's better series about different views. I was supposed to talk only a little about it, 15 mins maybe, but my teacher got so interested that she let me talk the whole lesson! This track is one of the best among Admiral and commander, main title, good night etc. They're all so good!

wow, 75 minute presentation on galactica?! i had to talk about hamlet when i was in school. btw i have determined by scientific experiments that this is the best track from the entire series. better than diaspora oratorio, better than passacaglia, better than prelude to war, better than storming new caprica, better than blood on the scales.
This song has so much emotion, one minute its depressing, hopeless, and the next its almost hopeful. Truly my favorite song ever.

I really like this song a lot, it's really mellow while also being dark and foreboding. Bear really knows what he's doing when he tries to create a mood.
