The Withrottle APP is the latest release with dual throttle capability. The APP is installed on a ITouch 2nd Generation 8Gig. The ITouch is communicating with the Acer Netbook running Windows XP via the WiFi connection. The Netbook is running JMRI Software 2.9.3, and is communicatining to the Digitrax PR-3 via a USB port. The Digitrax PR-3 is connented to the Digitrax Zephyr via the Loconet buss connection. The Digitrax Zephyr is connected to the HO track rails via the Track A and B connections. The F40PH is a Kato with a self installed Tsunami decoder, and the MP15AC is an Athearn Genesis with a factory installed decoder.

  • 100grapes, Yes this looks very cool also! This was the App introduced at the National Train Show with Digitrax. I am sure the App will be cost effective, but I think you will have to puchase the Digitrax WiFi unit to make the App work, which I think they said was going to be like 139 to 179 dollars. Thing are getting very exciting in the WiFi MRR World! Thanks for the comment!

  • Glad you enjoyed! And its still works!, actually better.

  • Awesome app. I looked into it but I also checked

out iRoc. It does the same thing but its free as in open source. I will buy this app also but it needs

to get much better for the price.

  • I will search for the iRoc App, I was not aware of it, Thanks for the info, and Thanks for commenting!

  • NanoX-S88 DCC system. Have you heard of that?

Its a DIY dcc system. You can use it with iRoc

and Rocrail or JMRI. Search for any of these

things to see the future of model railroading.

    The future is here!

  • I have heard of it now! This is incredible, looks like the testing is going to go to the next level. If I understand this correctly, this build it yourself DCC. I have lots of questions now! Thank for the information.

  • This looks very similar to the app OverlookLabs is making. Check it out at overlooklabs(dot)com

  • Nice Ahhhh, Video ahhhhhh.

  • Very informative and well-presented demonstration. Thanks too for posting how to arrange correctly all the connections from the computer to the rail. Excellent work!

  • That is way, way, way cool. Thanks for putting the video together.

  • Nicely done video. This is the first I've seen the dual throttle UI; I have the app, but have yet to use it. Thanks for the demo.

  • Very nice 5/5 and I have a 3g 32gig I pod touchwould I be able to do this? What is the application called and is it free? Thanks pal!!!

  • Awesome video - I can't wait to introduce this to the MRR club I'm in.

One question - can you consist two or more locos together like on a digitrax throttle? As in dialing them up by there individual addresses. I dont like giving everything the same address.
