You can't judge how smart a person is by how much the swear -that seems quite obvious -but it can show a lack of judgement. Smart people at not better people; we don't have much control how smart we are either. For me it's just a matter of a better use of language and communication -which he in one part seems to be ignoring.

So you think if you talk about certain things, you can't swear? Why is that? You think intelligent conversation requires a more proper serious character? It doesn't effect the message so why do you think it's important? Do those words demand respect? Are they needy words? Lol. I personally think you think smart people are better people, and dumber are worse and you relate swearing with intelligence level, and you view yourself as better than your dumb industry assoc who swear. IMO.

Maybe you interpret it as "he doesn't take care of himself". Maybe Joe interprets it differently like swearing is not important. I personally don't think it matters, he still gets across the point and he's explaining stuff which is not always simple to explain but I personally always clearly understand what he means and I think that's the most important thing in "communication". How is it 'not taking care of himself"? Which part of him is not looked after?
