You are my twin! (guy version). I am SO glad that I am not alone. I'm 100% Palestinian but 2nd generation (parents were born in America) so my parents would speak to me in English 99% of the time :p I only can speak the basics, cooking terms, & food items:p I get made fun of all the time by my friends ...your arabic sounds decent! Inshallah we will be fluent soon! It is my one big insecurity...and of course my parents don't take any responsibility for me not knowing and everybody blames me :p

At home english is banned in our household and now that i watched this i think my parents made a good call personally blame your parents because u should be fluent in arabic especially at your age but its good that your willing to learn even though its your first language

@hebadarab12345 Thank you - just a few things. Im only half Lebanese, my mother is Croatian. I speak more Croatian than Arabic because its easier- i hope to learn more but i am glad i picked up the basics of both languages to give me stepping stone to learn further.
