@DawsonSpeaks85 Oh I see. Thanks for the reply.

I bet window cleaning pays well. I know a guy who charges £8 a house and he's only there for ten minutes before moving to the next house!

@Aspergianstar20O9 We don't really have as many customers as we would like so it doesn't pay that well for us sadly. Some window cleaners work very quickly and don't wipe the edges of the window or the sills. We try to do these things whenever possible so we generally take a bit longer than most cleaners. Thanks for watching.

You're an unlikely window cleaner, but I can see you do a good job. What about the winter months when there's snow and frost about?
Planetoxo 5 months ago
@Planetoxo Thanks. Winter can be tough as sometimes our pole system won't work in really cold weather or the water will freeze in the hose. Water can also freeze on the windows using the traditional method. We just try and carry on as best we can though if the customers are okay with it. In really bad snow of if the water is freezing on all the windows we have to give in and not work but things only get that bad for a week or two at most in the very dead of winter.

@DawsonSpeaks85 What about flats? Or three-storey houses where the pole won't reach. I guess you have to climb the ladders. Wow, scary.

@Planetoxo We don't do flats as the water from the pole could drip on to lower windows that belong to someone else. Our pole and ladder both aren't long enough for 3 storey buildings so we don't do those.
