  • Hello. I am a mental health professional and your video is very good. Have you thought about becoming a mental health professional?

  • @lorienocean Hi, thank you for the wonderful compliment. I'm so glad you liked my video.

  • Hi, I always play with my fingers. I have a very strong urge to even everything out. For example: If I scratch one side of my nose, I have to scratch the other. And I have been washing my hands an awful lot when I go in the pool, or even at school I have an urge to wash them. It started out when my parents fought a lot a two years ago. They are getting divorced very soon. I have already started to cut down washing my hands every time I touch something. But how can I stop playing with my fingers?

  • Hi, practice the same technique as you do to cut down on washing your hands; try to do it less and less. Perhaps you can keep a pen nearby and doodle on a piece of paper to help break the habit initially.

  • I have harm ocd, it is really distressful. I try to talk to my family about it and they say I only want attention or its just a phase, that nothing is wrong with me. I mean it really hurts when the people I feel I can talk to can't be there. Then I have another one where i think that i might turn gay, or get sick of my girlfriend, but i know for a fact that i love her and that i am not gay. I constantly have battled thoughts like these on a daily basis for about a year. I want to be normal.

  • Hi, I understand how frustrating and upsetting OCD can be. Many times it can take a while for family members to truly understand what OCD is about and very often it can be mistaken for trying to get negative attention or it is downplayed to try to help you defocus on it. The fears that you are describing are very common among OCD sufferers. You're doing a great job reminding yourself that you know this is OCD. Don't be afraid to seek help if you think you need it.

  • i remember i always was HORRIBLELY DISGUSTED by the fact dogs eat their own crap

it makes me feel like i dont love my dogs as much

i love they to pieces, but it just makes me so sick i would hate it if they licked me

i know some people say poo is natural but i just think its so gross

  • @YouTips4U Great! thanks for your reply. Really appreciate it.

  • My OCD is literally crippling…I have had it since I was 19 (that's the earliest time that I can remember)…I am 41 now…It rules my life and I am miserable

  • I have this weird thing where I hate reflections. For some reason everytime I a reflective surface it makes me freak out. like when I try to watch TV but it's reflecting then I can't focus on anything other than the reflection and I my anxiety builds up. IT's really terrible because almost everything reflects so I'm afraid to use my phone, watch TV, or anything like this. In fact there is a reflection on my computer screen that is really bugging me as I type this.

  • bad thoughs i can relate to this
