There's sort of a metallic scraping sound at about 1:07. I wonder what it is.

@andrmour I counted about 370 notes JUST on the first page [I counted single chords as 1 note each].... and there's like 5 pages of it..... so I'm thinking around 2000 notes...

Truly a wonderful etude...been working on it for months, still not up to speed..! My left hand gets pretty stiff just thinking about that song though.....
