Look, we had russians in our country for way too many years, we were no threat neither to russia nor to soviet union, even that they invaded us, we had them in our country for almost 50 years and it was hard to get rid of em. They back-stabbed us during WW2, I won't even mention Katyn, tho I should. Now tell me what americans did aginst Poland? "Nothing" so why shouldn't we stick with them?

Take into account the fact that here an unknown history of Eastern Slavic tribes before Rurik, the Byzantine sources where it was said that the Eastern Slavs went with his king in Constantinople in 860. Next (after 862) was conquered Kiev, and doing the capital there. The Baptism of Russia was 988. Moscow city itself is first mentioned in 1147, but not in the 13 century. And this is not the year of its founding.

@kilox3 hmm .. You first went to the conquests in the east. That you started intervention in the 17 century and in the civil war in the 20 century. At every opportunity while the Poles were when their were not wanted.

So why would you not keep a tight leash after that? What would have less opportunity to climb to where you should not?

What civilization did Russia bring to Poland. You destroyed our Constitution which was second in the world. Poland wanted union with Russia for 2 centuries. We had more freedom of religion and movement then you ever did. Even now you don't even have that.
