NOTICE: ALL MOVIES THAT I DISPLAY ON YOUTUBE, I OWN. YES, I PAID $30/$35 PER MOVIE. SUCKS, BUT THAT'S WHAT IT IS. I AM NOT PROMOTING BACKING UP BLU-RAY MOVIES THAT YOU DO NOT OWN.
Thanks for watching. Please excuse the grainy video. My 6MP Fuji camera is obviously not the greatest. You are watching a clip of Narnia Prince Caspian blu-ray back up that I created using various free tools that are available online. I know, I know...I wish I would have grabbed one of my movies instead of one of the kids', but what the heck. Dark Knight or The Departed is next. I extracted the video off of the BD onto my hard drive, and it started out as a 45GB folder. That's correct, 45GB. After all of the work was done, the size of the file that I transferred to my Fat32 hard drive is 3.9GB. Crazy eh? Even more crazy is the fact that the quality of the video is still excellent!!! I'm not going to say it's 100% as crisp as when I place the disc in my PS3, but it's still greatness in quality. Hit me up and I will send you the details as to what I used, and provide any help you may need. I thought it couldn't be done after struggling for 2 weeks, but this is the end result. I am using a 50" 1080i Sony XBR TV and PS3 via HDMI. If you hear any clicks during the video playback, that's my old but trusty Western Digital hard drive working hard. This started out as an experiment, so I may have to upgrade my hard drive.
CAN U HELP ME WITH THE DETAILS I WOULD LIKE TO RIP MY BLURAYS TO MY PS3 HDD BUT DONT KNOW HOW
THANKS
