In this episode, I love how Kate is thinking about Royce's letter the whole trip. And during the episode, we see her taking more risks with her relationship with Castle.

I actually really love this scene. And this might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm glad she didn't open up the door sooner. I think we're all pretty sure what could have happened if he hadn't left, but I don't think it was the right time for them. Kate was still with Josh and had just lost Royce. This scene is very powerful and moving. Now, that's not to say I don't want them together, I want them together ASAP, I just don't think this was the right moment.

I'm so afraid this is going to represent there relationship. Castle has made it clear to Beckett he is in love with her but she walks away and just keeps him waiting. But one time she is going to make him wait to long and when she finally decides to end him of his misery than he's not going to be there
