What skepticism could there possibly be? If he was put to death I doubt even the most liberal activist groups would be crying in outrage. He was one of the biggest masterminds of the 9/11 attacks. So they wanted to give them civil trials instead of military ones. So What?
This is a clever move, as most people know civil courts or more open and more trusted then a military court. So there will be less scepticism of the American justice system form outsiders. Plus if anything the attackers arent part of a national military, so can you really trial them in a military court???????

So just so your porky ass gets this straight, the original plan was to put these goons in Gitmo on military trial. Eric Holder's law firm was actually defending some of them-2005-2006

Eric Holder is now the AG (conflict of intrest) and is putting WELL defined illegal combatants up to civilian trials. In the video Eric Holder couldn't give an example of this ever being done. Did you notice? The "plan" was never to just keep them locked up.

Dude it is a pretty easy concept, you cant hold people indefinitely without a trial that is against every core principle of freedom and a fair and open justice system.
