I used to see the reruns on TV when I was kid in the early 80s. The only thing I remember is the opening credits.

My heart goes out to the entire extended Jones family, and to the tv and music world at large. I don't care what the critics said, this show is a classic, the Monkees will always be a classic group, and I will forever thank them for bringing some fun and joy into the lives of millions, myself included. RIP David Thomas Jones, we won't be the same without you.

Unlike the trash seen on Saturday mornings today, these guys were the real deal, funny, talented, and very easy on the eyes for the gals. RIP Davy, your charm and wit will always remind me of my childhood.
