My first attempt at a camera mount for my bike. The suspension arms damp out vertical movement whilst the inner-cradle, suspended from its center-of-gravity, damps out any high fequency rotation.
I'm not sure how I feel about the "tilt" elastics. To me, if you hit a bump, it'd just keep bouncing. I think I'd try hard mounting the camera to the plate, then replace side elastics with springs, and add another spring from camera plate, down to base. I think this would create enough Resistance to the unit, while still allowing for show absorption.
I'd like to see any and all progression of this design.
I may try to work on it as well and post my findings.
Thats about as far as i was, next problem is side to side swinging. and don't forget that the place where you mount it should be totally non flexible. im going to try now with a small pneumatic cilyinder as suspention and vibration canceller

If you ever complete this and would be interested in selling others, please tell me. This looks like a very sturdy design..
