  • You guys can play the instrument but not the song, its sounds like your own version. Listen to the song, it goes in the major key. You play the tones together with the minor notes and the song goes nowhere. Not upplifting at all, but I am sure you guys have noticed something is wrong. Play the melody on one (double) string, let the other bouzoki do the chords. Nice to see other Ellines from the diaspora. Alex from Sweden

  • This song is played in the major key, which is where I played from. Dimitri is playing the harmonic to the scale I am playing, which with a majore scale, is usually a minore scale. Just gives it the all around sound. We could have just played one guy in majore and one doing chords, but this is how we chose to do it. We think it sounds good, and others who comment think it sounds good. This was our first duet and my first song I learned in lessons with him so we had to keep it simple.

  • you guys are sounding good...you need a singer now!

jason could this go next on your tabs page ???

  • we need a guitarist, a drummer, a baklama, and then a singer. lol.

    Tabs are up. Enjoy

  • dude...we did really nice on this video! The fifths i added in on the harmony really added to the sound...and everything came out totally clear! I havent seen this video in weeks...your improvement is monstrous! in a good way ofcource lol see u next tuesday...

  • ya re, I need to keep improving so we can make more and better videos for everyone on youtube. Not only for my site, but for yours as well. Anyways, take care of that magical picking wrist of yours and I'll do my part to practice. Giassou

  • "there's greeks and then everyone else who wishes they was greek"

  • Its good that Jimmy plays the harmony, but does he really play the tones of the YOUR major scale. Thats why its sounds like the Cabaret version, this tune is an upbeat nisiotiko. Never mind the "appeal of majority", you guys can do better. Its sounds like you play it in G, starting the major scale towards A B, when you later hit C it should not be in harmony with the tone A, since the C is now the major chord, it sounds more like A minor chord.

  • Its not a bad preformence, and keep it up!

But RAZA is right. It lacks the uplifting nature of the song. It's a bit flat sounding.

So sort it out and post a new one.
