Go to http://www.technomicon.com/ProductReviews/ProductReview-10-29-11.html for our full review. In this concluding part of the review, we look at software, both iOS 5 and apps such as iWork. Using iWork isn't as easy as it could be, since iWork apps for iOS don't support landscape orientation on iPhone 4S, although they do for iPad 2. This means that the HDMI output is used very inefficiently, which isn't a problem on iPad 2. If it weren't for this iPhone 4S could actually be a reasonable desktop substitute using an external display and Bluetooth keyboard. iCloud seems to work very well allowing sharing of many app's data almost instantly. However, Apple makes users jump through an extra hoop for sharing some documents between OS X Lion Macs and iOS devices. Finally, we briefly demo SIRI, which works very well for taking dictation, but may not always have the answer to your deepest questions.
