Mongolian and Turkish people may be brothers but their races are differant. Turks are in the turanoid type of europid race(caucasoid race), but mongols are in mongoloid race.Turks appeared by the mixing of finno-ugorics with some amerindians.However Mongols appeared after some another amerindians evaluated into mongoloids.So we can say turks and mongols are very distant relatives.But we can claim such a relativity also for turks and scandinavians because of Turks’ finno-ugoric roots.

Finno-Ugrian or Fenno-Ugric is language group not race group. Finno-Ugrian or Fenno-Ugric language group is spoken by Hungarians (15 million), Finns (6–7 million), Estonians (1.1 million), and Mordvins (0.85 million)

Last DNA- Tests show Turks and Mongolians have the same race, but different language (but the language is from the same Tree!! You should learn a bit more about Mongolians and Turks!

May be 10 to 15% per cent of people in Turkey have central asian or siberian (turkic) features I would say.

This is because Turks took over a country which was already very mixed up (Byzantines, Anatolians, Armenians, Kurds). Then there was the Ottoman Empire, so you add Arabs, Caucasians, Slavs, Albanians, etc

i see that some people say "only %15 of the Turkey is asiatic" .. no, you are talking about N,C,Q genes, which are also very low in other Turkic peoples. look at Turkmens of Turkmenistan, they are carrying %15 N,C,Q genes. just some higher than anatolian Turks. the K,L,C,Q,O,N,R1A,R1B, all of them carried by Seljuk Turks to anatolia

They are Muslim, maybe mixed with Arabs in a certain percent (very small, not important) but they are as Indoeuropean as Persians, Celts or Thrakians! All those people are mixed today, but the basic blood still prevails. Arabs are Semites, a different race. @MrMongolWolf thats right, my family are one of theses 15%. We are exactly from Kirgistan, and my Grandfather flee as a child with his father to the Ottoman Empire because of the Chinese Army. And today are only 13-15% really Turks from Asia in Turkey, the rest of Turkey (Anattolia) are a mix of a lot ethnic groups like Armenian,Kurds,Arabs,Greece,fr­om the Balkans,Bulgarian,Russian,Pers­ian,Caucasians....
