There are two Lois Lanes I like and are worthy to be called Lois Lane; Erica Durance in Small ville. And in Superman Animated 1996. The rest NOPE

Lois Lane is the best character ever created and Durance is the epitome of Lois Lane. I love Margot and I adore Teri, but Erica took Lois to a whole other level.

@trlkly When Chloe was created she was a mixture between Lois and Lana from the comics (best friend from higschool with an eternal (unreciprocated) crush on Clark), I think she finally found her place in the Superman universe when they stopped trying to make her into something she was not.
Being Lois Lane is more than just being a reporter.

@xCircles90x Did you watch the early seasons? Chloe was created to be Lois, without having her there. It was only after they brought in Lois that they had to make Chloe not a reporter, and turn her into the crappy character she is today.
Durance isn't bad now as Lois. But she was horrible when she started out, because they couldn't step on Chloe's character. And now she's still not really Lois, as she already likes Clark way too much at this point.

Erica Durance is the very embodiment of Lois Lane. She was born to play the role. If you actually knew anything about the comicbook character, you'd know Erica is perfect.
