The reason you hear so much about it is because people are getting paranoid and crazy these days. They have always been around...since Nixon actually. People just are paranoid about the name and the confused right has latched on to it. At least read the wikipedia article or something else that is more reliable and less manipulative than Glen Beck.

What is all this talk about Czars? Why 20 or 30 Czars? This has never been in our American political lexicon before the last years of the Bush regime. Czar is the Russian word for Caesar. Why is it now a cool thing for our republic to have Caesars--or is this a sign of the authoritarian future we have to look forward to? Just a thought but watch as the rule of law becomes more and more marginalized in the U.S., as Obama seems to have sadly taken up the Bush mantle.
