Facepalm

So Mr. Zuckerberg from Facebook came to our campus to give a talk. My belief was that Mr. Zuckerberg was touring and recruiting ECE majors to build a device that would push Facebook as the platform for all communications. This is why I built a LAN-remote access-speaker player (a device), snuck it into the talk the night before, and tried to play my question (pushes content to communicate). Unfortunately I was wrong. Facebook makes some 2 billion dollars a year, his hour is worth $400,000, and each question, maybe 5 minutes long, is worth $34,000. I wanted to make sure that my question was worth his time, that's all.

I wrote out my question, had the Vicki voice read and recorded it, took UKF's Dubstep Tutorial and chopped it up, synced it, and made this.

I've been hearing some odd interpretations of why I did what I did, including trying to get a recording of the talk, a pseudo bomb threat, being a troll, etc. Not sure where they came from but they're wrong.

The video of you asking the question was circulated around by students, the CMU subreddit etc. Not only was it embarrassing for our school, but the fact that you told everyone you hid something under the stage made me cringe. Imagine the fear of those sitting in the front row, of Zuckerberg, of school administrators and security. Your brain clearly lacks any degree of social awareness or empathy. Shame on you man

@c0nlin Thank you for your insight as well. I apologize that you cringe. You can rest easy knowing that my brain does not lack understanding of social awareness. On the other hand, you should be aware that Mr. Zuckerberg specifically requested his talk not to be recorded or released. You may want to re-evaluate your own awareness of social things and empathy, having been a part of openly defying this request.
