  • @revers3d302 oh ok, now i get what ur talkin bout haha. thnx.

  • @The00Mustang How much belt slip you have is dependent upon the size of the pulley, the belt itself, belt wrap, etc. The issue with smaller pulleys is that they reduce the amount of belt wrap around the pulley. Less surface area = less friction which translates into more belt slip. I haven't seen many Cobras with belt slip issues until they start to get pulleys with 2.80 or smaller diameters. At that point an idler pulley becomes necessary. Besides, smaller than 2.93 over-spins the M112 anyway.

  • @revers3d302 oh ok, so the setup would b better on like a strip car?!?! because the amount of boost u can have on it? is belt slip likely to happen on a street car? or would it have to have alot of power to slip the belt??

  • @The00Mustang Actually it's not better. It just eliminates belt-slip, allowing potential for higher boost pressures. Unfortunately, cog pulley setups put a lot of stress on the crank key way and blower snout, and even the belt itself. On a street car, cog pulleys aren't a good idea due to the stresses involved. On a daily driver, the belt itself likely wouldn't last long.

  • the hondas are running away

  • @CobraVenom2003 thats what i was thinking

  • My other 03 had an Eaton on it now I have a whipple ( WITH NO WHINE ) and it sux but at 700hp and true dyno'd 615 RWHP I am not complaining....Check out my channel.

  • Thats no parted eaton.....Its most likely a Kenne Bell.

  • @tbuck07 i think i seen this vid but with another user, and they either said it was a ported eaton or a 2.3 kenne bell, but im not sure. but i dont see why u couldnt put the cogs on them lol
