Intro chase sequence from James Remar's 1986 cheeseball action flick in which he plays a NY cop who heads to the backwoods only to run afoul of some bloodthirsty pot growers. Somehow it didn't seem quite so laughable back in the day. Co-stars Daphne Ashbrook, Jared Martin, Nick Cassavetes and what '80s action flick would be complete without Chris Mulkey?

Gotta love how Remar's character is the bigger criminal, here. The skater takes the purse but just steals the money - the lady's credit cards are probably still all in there - whereas Remar smashes a florist's livelihood and makes everybody hit the ground lest they be run over. When he comes flying out of the subway, look at those two bystanders kiss concrete to avoid being decapitated by the crazy man on a motorcycle!

i love how he's at the 42nd street station, but the guy pops out at the brooklyn bridge/city hall 4/5/6 subway station.
