  • Stainds best album was Dysfunction. Hands down

  • @coolbro1989 I totally agree.Hard Rock these days is garbage.I mean Nickelback,Hinder,Shinedown,Saving Abel,Theory Of A Deadman, all these bands SUCK!!!

Staind,Chevelle, and Stone Sour are probably the only good hard rock bands out right now.

  • @Chaseman1981 I must say I agree. The only "hard rock" band of those I kind of like is Shinedown, but they don't do much to help bring back the good stuff these days. If more bands that are like Staind would step up these days, then it would be easier to spread their influence. More bands can make a difference, so f**k the record companies & radio labels. Look at what AIC, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana did to spread grunge influence. These days it's not just those you mentioned, but "once-good" bands

  • Staind suck.

  • i agree

  • @Chaseman1981 Haha yeah, why can't some bands just realize that change isn't always a good thing, you can experiment, go for it, but don't completely alienate the genre which u started out with. Staind went from Nu-Metal to radio rock now back to Nu-Metal, Papa Roach were Nu-Metal then turned into Nickelback, Linkin Park went from Nu-Metal to electro-rock. Those were HUGE changes, that ain't experimenting, that's alienation. Haha yeah those trash can drums killed me on the inside LOL

  • @sephiroth2099 LMAO on the comment about drums on St. Anger. Every time I hear Lars hit the snare drum on that album, it makes my ears bleed.

  • @sephiroth2099 Exactly, look at Papa Roach, they came out during the same time LP did during the early 2000s Nu Metal movement and it worked for them because their first 2 albums were really good. But since they realeased Getting Away With Murder, they've jumped on the crappy Hard Rock bandwagon along with Nickelback, Hinder, etc. They also changed their look to a more Motley Crue look, it's like all of these shitty Hard Rock bands are trying to bring back Glam Rock LOL.

  • @Chaseman1981 yep I agree with u 100% percent, Metallica's first 5 albums were untouchable, then they fucked up with Load/Reload, St Anger would've been good but they used trash cans as drums so that put me off lol.Staind's first 3 albums were awesome then they turned into Radio Rock, even though their music was still descent, they were no way near as good, they saved themselves with their new album. LP don't know how to experiment, a lot of people r losing respect for them. Metal works for them

  • @sephiroth2099 Yeah, Linkin Park's newer stuff is terrible. Nine Inch Nails never dissapoints. Metallica's first 5 albums are badass, but Load,ReLoad, and St. Anger were poor, at least they redeemed themselves with Death Magnetic. Same thing with Staind, Tormented, Dysfunction, and Break The Cycle are awesome, then they started to go downhill, at least they redeemed themselves with the latest album. You're right though, experimenting does not work for alot of bands especially LP.

  • @Chaseman1981 haha yeah, their old music (Hybrid Theory/Meteora) kicked ass, one of the better Nu-Metal/Hard Rock bands to come out in that time. Their new music sucks ass, if I want to listen to good Electronica/Alternative Rock music, I'll just put on some Nine Inch Nails. Metal bands should learn by now that experimenting sometimes isn't a good thing lol, Metallica did it, it sucked, Staind did it, it sucked, now Linkin Park is doing it, and it sucks LOL.

  • @sephiroth2099 haha yeah, I wouldn't even consider Linkin Park hard rock, maybe their Hybrid Theory/Meteora stuff, but not their newer stuff. If anything I would probably consider their newer stuff alternative/electronic rock, except it's BAD alternative rock LOL.
