More than halfway through the third quarter with the Buckeyes lead shrunk to only a touchdown, Michael Jenkins takes over for the Buckeyes. Astute playcalling takes advantage of an injury as Jenkins pops open against press coverage for a big gainer. Therein, Michael Jenkins surpasses David Boston for career reception yards.
Two plays later, Jenkins was in the end zone with his second touchdown catch of the day. The ensuing extra point put the Buckeyes up two touchdowns.
The Buckeyes eventually held on against a late Wildcat surge to win 35-28.
@JH16 Jenkins is a bust bro... hasnt stepped up once in his career

@Priestshooby I guess that depends on your definition of a bust. He's been in the league for 7 years with the SAME team. Not as fast as Roddy nor got the skills of Andre Johnson, Moss, or Calvin Johnson, but he makes plays, catches first downs, and moves the chains. Doesnt drop the ball often. He's an asset to the team no matter what his role is. If we get another deep threat, fine. But Jenkins is still a piece of the puzzle. Falcons have NO regrets.

@JH16 You really can't believe that? And I doubt he fulfilled the falcons expectations because if he's doing that. They wouldn't be looking for a TRUE number 2 deep threat. He's a BUST as a 1st round pick. You could have gotten him in the later rounds and then he wouldn't be a bust. But as a 1st this is the case.

@Priestshooby cant be a 7 year NFL veteran on a playoff team & be a bust. He fulfilled the Falcons expectations for him. No concerns here. Go Falcons!!

@JH16 Jenkins still sucks. He's a number 3 or 4 Wide out at best. No one ever seems to know that he was a first round pick. He's a BUST!

@litfuse007 ohio state will always have elite receivers (you forgot to mention ginn and gonzalez). That is the one area ohio state seems to excel in every year offensively. I couldn't be happier with our receiving core right now. Posey, Carter, Sanzenbacher with stoneburner as a great receiving tightend (recruited as a wide receiver)
