your brain gets rid of what it isn't using or creates new ways for something new. Old people aren't as active or most aren't. Most of my family members are active until they die with work all the way up until their 90s. We're a hardy little lot. Now, some members of my family go benign crazy around their 30-60s and talk to god and such, but even they retain their intellect, or it even grows, but there are dead people and angels networking themselves as well.
