I find it much better to rip 2 x ( 0" to 2-1/2) then lay down osb on that.

this is crazy...over time this is going to be a pile of junk (quicker if you have a water leak at that sink.

What would you think about using 3 tab roofing shingles instead of scrap lumber to shim the floor to become level?

What thickness OSB did you use and would Hardwood floor work with the OSB (will the nails stick?)

@bl1tzkr1egbob I used 3/4" osb. If I were going to do hardwood, I would probably have used plywood
