British Airways 747 Takeoff Heathrow

Part 2 of a 5 video series following British Airways flight 285 from Heathrow to San Francisco Airport. This is the taxi to and takeoff from runway 27L, as well as the departure from the London area by the WOBUN SID. Ignore the speed callouts during the takeoff roll - when I recorded the video, the aircraft weighed a bit less than I did during the actual takeoff, which is why the V1, Vr, and V2 speed callouts are not timed with the rotation.

Nice video. I see PMDG still hasn't updated the upper EICAS display to show EPR thrust settings (which are standard on BA RB211-equipped engines).

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I've been hoping for a while that PMDG will update the EICAS to show RollsRoyce's EPR thrust settings; did they announce that they are planning on doing that? Also, on the IDENT page of the FMC, the only engine model that is ever displayed regardless of the aircraft (and consequently the engines) that you are operating is the CF6-80. It would certainly add some realism if PMDG altered the EICAS and FMC to incorporate the RB211s.
