Shaun Gillis owner/operator of Gillis Convenience, has been involved in the Retail Sector since 1983 and has worked as a manager for Woolco Department Store, Bargain Harold's and Zeller's.

In 1994 Shaun took part in an Memorial University sponsored pilot program that was designed to assist potential entrepreneurs develop the skills needed to open and run a successful business.

Shaun was provided with business planning assistance from various lending institutions and accountants.
