Wow they all look so young. As a puppeteer that was very interesting to me, but as a
vegetarian I was quite offended. I didn't think Jim Henson's work was so violent either. I'm not
sure if he wrote the material.

As far as I know, Jim Henson was a vegetarian as well (this seems to have been before that lifestyle change).
Also, cartoonish violence has always been a big part of the Muppet sensibilty. Though, I will admit to being a little shocked the first time I saw this. In hysterics, but shocked.
