  • Maybe to an economist things are getting better, but to the average man on the street things are gonna get worse before they get better.

  • Typical sugar coated AP nonsense. We want to see reality and how Obama is going to change things for REAL.

  • LOL.... I say things are getting better for me from 18 months ago and from people I'm talking to... And I mention that I see things picking up and I get thumbs down..... LOL sorry folks but for me and many around me we are seeing things getting better... Why would me statement draw a negative? Jealousy I expect.

  • Works for me!

  • They must be reporting from happy economic imagination land, no growth or recovery from the ground level. This nothing more then a script cooked up from Washington DC and Wall Street.

  • Bull sh*t.

The only people making any money are bankers.

    Shoot the bastards!

  • Things are looking better for me personally and for many people I talk to through my business... Better in fact than things have been in the last 18 months. I'm seeing things picking up...

  • I don't give a sh*t what the media's take on the economy is at. All I have to do is look at the want-ads and talk to my everyday people. With that, I know how the economy is. Media/White House loves to give hope to people. I guess you can call it reverse physiology. I call it pathological liars with an acute denial syndrome. Is their a cure for that, or are they still working on it?

  • Modest?!

You mean it really isn't worth mentionlng.

    Bull
