On Wednesday, December 14, a good Samaritan brought a stray Cat, now named Bethany, to the Animal Defense League. Bethany had sustained horrific injuries to both her rear legs, ears, front left paw and tail. These were old injuries that appear to be a few weeks old. Bethany was quickly taken in and treated by our veterinary staff. Surgery was recommended and done the same day. The extent of Bethany's injuries were so severe that they lead to partial amputations of her two rear legs, front leg and tail. She is very alert and is recovering nicely in our Hospital.
@MyFreedomChannel Yes, and getting better everyday. I'll pm you with a link to an article we posted on facebook as an update with pictures of her in her new home :)

@adoptADL How true it is ... a happy ending for Bethany and her family. Just wondering - is she able to walk okay?

@MyFreedomChannel Thank you for your kind thoughts. Bethany actually did get adopted on January 6th, 2012 and is now in her home! What a happy ending!

Wish I could afford to help Bethany, but I will pass this along.
