On the night of June 23rd, I was on the Internet and saw a news headline about Kevin Rudd's leadership under siege. The story itself wasn't very descriptive, but on a hunch I said, "Just change over to Sky News for a moment, I want to check something." And I was stunned by what they were talking about -- Julia Gillard was in Kevin Rudd's office, about to challenge him for the Labor leadership! I quickly pressed record and taped the last three hours of Sky News' coverage of the events on that historic night.
