Mevansmusic, by "just the music" do you mean the instruments without the voices? Because in my book, voices make music too.

Does anybody know which orchestra (or whatever you want to call it) plays this kind of music full time? I love the music (and this opera) but i'm looking specifically for just the music, let me know, i really appreciate it.

in traditional Chinese opera, all the roles are played by men, so i don't want to see any sweet lubbin' going on.
tammersn, if you want clips of Chinese opera, you can screengrab Farewell my Concubine. it's an excellent film and will teach you a lot about Chinese opera.
