and of course the strummed acoustic for chords, rather than choppy block chords like in traditional jazz... is very metheny too.

to me this is much like pat metheny style music... with the humming in the background, and the double stops in his playing, not palm muted, and just kinda warm tone smooth melodic playing... very metheny compositionally as well.
