My vision behind this video when making was we can't see God but we know He's there so I filmed a few places where I have met God in a powerful way and where it says this is home where You are to me it means no matter where I am as long as I have God with me I am home. Our whole lives we search for what gives us meaning; for me it's Jesus. And I just want to be in His presence. When it's asking am I very far? It shows our pursuit of Jesus and how sometimes this journey can be long but it's ok as long as we have Him by our side and it's asking "Am I following Your will? Am I very far from being with You? Because nothing else satisfies like His love satisfies.
It also expresses our fear of leaving everything behind. "If I leave will I find You there?" If I leave will You be there. I'm leaving everything behind to follow You when I leave are You going to be there? Are You going to be there when everything falls apart?
One night as I lay in bed, I yearned for my lover. I yearned for him, but he did not come.
So I said to myself, "I will get up and roam the city, searching in all its streets and squares.
I will search for the one I love." So I searched everywhere but did not find him.
The watchmen stopped me as they made their rounds, and I asked, "Have you seen the one I love?"
Then scarcely had I left them when I found my love!

Talking about the call to follow Jesus.
Saying how the bride was afraid to leave her comfort zone
But her love for her husband overcame that. Jesus calls us and wants us to follow Him. Sometimes He calls us out of our comfort zone but our heart skips a beat when we hear Him calling so we get up a little more desperate than before to open the door and find our love. (Jesus) Hoping we will find Him there. When it says she could not find Him; today it doesn't mean that He has left us but He wants us to leave our comfort zone and all we have known behind.
To me this song is that longing to be with God; leaving everything behind to follow Him and how sometimes this journey gets weary but it's worth it to be with Him. We're searching for a love that's beyond human love; a love deeper than words. And His love is deeper than words can say. It's deeper than our minds can comprehend and though we leave stuff behind He is the treasure we are pursing with abandoned hearts and He is worth it 'cause His love is so great. "This is home where You are."
