Rex Sinquefield on the KKK and public schools - extended version

You know what. There was a column written and I hope I don't offend anyone. There was published column by a man named Ralph Voss, who was a former judge in Missouri. He now owns and writes for a newspaper in Central Missouri called the Unterrified Democrat -- what a name -- and it's in Osage County, Missouri. And he starts off, something like this, he said a long time ago, decades ago, the Ku Klux Klan got together and said how can we really hurt the African American children permanently? How can we ruin their lives? And what they designed was the public school system.

And as for you, It makes no difference if he's Republican, or a Democrat. both parties don't get it. Both parties want govt all over education. Last time I checked, Govt screws up more things than it fixes.... Stupidity runs deep in both parties!

seriously Heather. Such a blanket statement shows your ignorance on this subject. Are there bad teachers? Yes. Mr. Billionaire is trying to make teaching something it is not. You have to look at the domino effect. Schools ARE NOT businesses and you cannot run them as such. I worked in one that way and it made for a very volatile work condition. His premise of "good leave, bad stay" is so flawed. Unless YOU have taught and YOU have been in the classroom, you have no room to talk.

"Musclemike" You clearly did not just watch the same video I just watched and have no children in a public school in MO. This man is SO RIGHT! The public school system is HORRIBLE. Those of you who think it is just fine have clearly never fought the war against a teacher who calls children names in the classroom, mistreats the children, and abuses her power and authority. If you had, you would understand that under the current system you CAN NOT FIRE THOSE TEACHERS no matter how bad they are.

Is this guy for real? I mean, is this a joke? This guy obviously has more knowledge of the KKK than he does of the public school system (of which I am a product). He has all the markings of a rich, white, arrogant, pompous Republican......
