Here's the very talented Lainie Kazan with an exquisite version of the Leslie Bricusse song "When I Look In Your Eyes." The song is from the 1967 movie Dr Dolittle. In the movie, the song is Rex Harrison's serenade to a seal, but here Lainie sings it in her own distinctive style which is absolutely beautiful - I hope the montage of pictures does it justice.

Lainie Kazan was Barbra Streisands understudy early on, from what I understand. In my opinion she is a stellar performer, and could easily put Babs in her back pocket.

I'm an Aussie and have all her albums , they are the pride of my collection !!!!......I think if they were released on CD more fans would be able to share her beautiful voice and re-live the major talent that is Lainie Kazan.....Sadly her music has been forgotten by most.....But NOT by us devoted FANS....Thankfully !!!!!

I've never heard her sing before. My wife told me she loves her voice-that is high praise as she is great singer albeit very critical (in a good way)
