He knows he can never measure up to Harry, The Chosen One. And of course, Hermione would definatly pick Harry over him. Why wouldn't she? Harry is everything any woman could want. He remembers memories of the three of them together and the closeness Harry and Hermione shared. He fears all hope is lost and that he'll never get the woman of his dreams. However, he remembers how when he left them, Hermione was so upset and begged him to come back, so he decides to return to her. And maybe, someday, she might find a place for him in her heart.
