StreetLethalRacing,Nothing wrong at all with 'whites' i just feel Italians should be labeled under their own group. I see and know these same Mexicans, Cubans etc with the same color tone as Italians and even lighter in many cases. Are these 'whites' really white-looking to you? Is a so-called black person really black in color, some might be supa-dark but (black?) in other instances with more variation and lighter(whiter) yet still labeled a black.

StreetLethalRacing,My view/opinion is that Italians should be labeled as just that, Italians, like the way we label a middle-eastern or an arab who is of the same labeled 'white race'...why different with Italians? Why don't you complete your wikipedia search with some more details left out like "The cultural boundaries separating white Americans from other racial or ethnic categories have changed significantly over the course of American history.

@goomba68 What the hell you talking about homie? Italian is WHITE EUROPEAN. You need to get off of the Hollywood Black bandwagon, and stop trying to make Italians into something they are not. Mexicans and Cubans have Spanish blood in them from when the Spaniards conquered South America, and the Spaniards were from SPAIN in EUROPE, and they are WHITE EUROPEAN. Know your history, Italians derive from the Greeks and Etruscans, which created the Roman identity, and they are all WHITE!
