I haven't posted a new video in a while so I thought I'd give these two a shot. These are the two solos from "You Are The One" by Lincoln Brewster. I'm playing a JP6 Petrucci Music Man.

  • Hey, I'm just curious, how would you make a tone just like this on a POD X3? The tone on a PODxt would work too.

  • @atung323 I'm not sure since I don't have a POD. Try downloading Lincoln's POD patches from his site. A lot of people seem to like them.

  • that tone is AMAZING!what are u using to get it?awesome playing by the way

  • @XxShadowGuitarxX Thanks! I just used the line out of a Line 6 Spider II on the "green metal" setting.

  • very nice. wonder what are your delay settings on that?

  • @playitloud27 Thanks! Sorry, I can't remember exactly. It was a really long time ago.

  • This solo is really nicely played! Are this from some live-version of the song? Or have you played the solo in "your interpretation"?? I just listened to the album version of the song and it doesn't appear to have the solo #2 in it.

    Nevertheless, awesome playing and tone!

  • Wow :) Your talented!

  • great......

  • @hawg427 Thank you! I've never played the new Petruccis, so I couldn't really tell you much about it. I'd suggest finding one of the older models on ebay. Occasionally you can find an amazing deal there.

  • I'm trying to decide between a Petrucci with the older ppups or the newer version with the Piezo in it. Is it worth the extra money? I could always get the regular ones and pop some demarzios or Duncans or even Knuckle PUPS in there. Great playing Brother. God Bless.

  • dude ive been playing guitar for about 3 years so these solos are pretty easy to me but the thing is that your tone is AMAZING!
