Sorry Maggie if it seems as if I was starting a holy war with my last comment cause I'm not sure where you stand with religion, and I realize our focus was on sports, but I just thought it was as odd as the whole "Volunteer" thing with the coaching salary. Its sad to witness these events when it raises fees and cuts back on attendance. I can understand pro sports being all about the mighty dollar even though I hate that just as much, but college...COLLEGE?! No. College shouldn't be about money.

Compared to USC, Tennessee is most definitely a stepping-stone school...I guess I just don't get the hate? Kiffin didn't owe UT anything, his dream job came up and he took it, just like anyone else would. And as for telling kids not to go to class, that's recruiting, every single coach would do the same thing. The only people surprised that Kiffin left UT for USC are UT fans themselves...apparently you guys aren't as big a deal as you thought.

I'm an Alabama fan. However, Kiffin screwed you, the fans, and the school. Kiffin is going to have a really hard time at USC. My prediction is Kiffin will ditch USC for another school after the NCAA infractions coming down on USC. Perhaps he'll take another southern school. It won't be a SEC school, but a C-USA or SWAC school. LOL. the only way it could be a ACC is if Duke decides to gamble on him.
