you missed a few vital facts in your comment...
many atheists do listen and take the concept on board, then realizeits false and carry on with life...they we are told again....and again...and again...and again...and again, then we get infuriated
You also forget that many atheists (such as myself) were previously religious and have read various holy books, I myself have read a total of 7 full bibles and parts of 8 (ATLEAST) , how many have you read?
perhaps its you who should keep an open mind

"so you feel that the more you infuriate us ..."
It isn't the ones that are infuriated we are after. Some listen and believe. Others don't and complain.
"I should make an entire series showing how ridiculous the bible is ..."
Or instead of trying to find some perceived error to trumpet, why not read it once with an open mind. Not looking for minor mistakes, but trying to understand what the various authors are trying to teach or convey. That's what an adult would do.

so you feel that the more you infuriate us,the better the job you are doing?
well, by this logic, I should make an entire series showing how ridiculous the bible is and how stupid people are for following it, if you dont like it, then it means im showing you the light.

"that all religions past and present tell followers to stay away from atheists"
Christianity certainly doesn't do that, it tells us to preach the gospel to you. I think we do a pretty good job of that given how many atheists are on YT complaining about it. I really don't know of religions that say what you claim, much less "all" of them. I don't think in the religion of Zeus & Apollo & Mars that they cared what you think.

I find it hilarious that all religions past and present tell followers to stay away from atheists and are full of derogatory characteristics we all supposedly are...
theists have to stay away from atheists for the same reason spiritualists have to stay away from controlled research studies....
The devil knows the bible. It is not the reading that cause one to be justified but believing and obeying it. The "... devils believe and tremble."

There's a problem that's been bothering me. For the sake of argument let's assume that God exists. The Bible is written by men who say they were inspired by God, but even assuming they were telling the truth how could they have any way of recognizing the supernatural being that was guiding them? Could it not just as easily have been Satan posing as God, after all the early Christian church said that the Devil counterfeited the messiah before by lying, isn't it likely that Jesus is another lie?

Jesus chose twelve apostils, he taught them, they witnessed, the miracles that he did, they saw him after his resurrection, and they watched him ascend into heaven in the clouds. The Holy Spirit guided them in the writing of the New Testament. Anything that does not agree with their writing is false.
I know whom and what I believe in; I believe that Jesus is the son of God and the savior of all in the world that obey him. I encourage you to make the same choice.

Yes, but my point is that the early church claimed Satan made similar stories with apostles, miracles and such to counterfeit the messiah, such as Mithras and Dionysus. What is there to say that Jesus is not another counterfeit? I'm not challenging you or your faith, I'm just curious.

The answer I gave you before. Read the New Testament and if you still have a problem believing that Jesus Christ is the messiah you just don't believe. Jesus said, "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." (John 8: 24). This is the most important decision you will ever have to make.
