It was a stupid move for Wimbledon to not change the seedings in 2009. Venus was the 2 time defending champion yet they still seeded Safina #1 and Venus 3 and Serena 2. And look what happened to #1.

safina actually said in an interview they should get rid of the grass season, including wimbledon... dumb ass.

Safina is a good player but the WS are normally able to beat her.. the only women who can beat the Williams are Clijsters, Henin and maybe Sharapova ...

this beatdown came just a few weeks after their match in Rome when Safina won in 3 sets (Venus really should've won that match though)

Poor safina, i hope williams sister did the same thing to Wonziacki ..telling her no.1 place in tennis is not meant for a celebrity which know nothings but ADIDAS fashion. LOLS

is a real shame!!! cause Venus Williams is one of the best players in the story of tennis!! Wimbly is hers!!! if she's on her form, playing Venus is lika an horror movie!! when you think you've beaten her, she just come back and place winner after winner!!! just hope she's get back on tour!!!
