First Hip Hop Movie made (Downtown 81) filmed in New York City 1981. Darren Brockett aka DJ Sinbad started playing at the T - Connection Club and the Disco Fever in the Bronx in 1977 - 1981 Old School. First rapper rapping and DJ scratching on motion film. Note: Kool Kyle is in film however, Melle Mel from Grandmaster Flash & Furious 5 is rapping.
